lovely grounds maintained health suite dated interior poor maintenance
i found the grounds to be lovely. the health suite was well maintained. it was easily accessible too. staff were very friendly. they were also helpful.
the hotel looked lovely externally. i found inside to be dated though. it was also poorly maintained, i thought.

The room was a good size. The shower worked well, delivering a powerful spray.
The bed felt quite soft and sagged a bit. The interior decoration seemed a little dated and tired. It could use a refresh.

updated rooms buffet breakfast pleasant backdrop
the hotel is currently being renovated, so rooms are continually updated. the buffet breakfast offered great value, with a wide selection. the grounds are nice too.
the tv was placed on a table lower than the bed, making it a bit uncomfortable to watch.

ample parking area spacious room good shower limited information difficult access noisy radiator
the parking area was ample, we found a space easily. our room was quite spacious and comfortable with good shower facilities. the hotel grounds were nice for a relaxing walk in the morning.
the staff at check-in provided very limited information, just directing us to the lift. accessing the restaurant with a pram was difficult because of all the stairs. the radiator in our room was noisy needing the heating on, and sounded like it had not been bled for years.

the hotel had a beautiful display of flowers inside. there were mirrors and chesterfield sofas adding a luxurious touch. the rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable (i slept well!).
the room was slightly dated.

spacious room leisure centre great breakfast
The staff were kind upon my late arrival and ensured my comfort. My room was spacious and clean. I found the leisure centre very good. The breakfast had GREAT value and a variety of choices.
